BB Stock Trading
If you are new to investing or are
just starting to get your feet wet, you have probably to this point
focused your attention on the larger, more established, or ‘blue
chip’ companies on the major North American, European and Asian
stock markets. And for the most part, if you use traditional stockbrokers, this is the easiest way for you to
invest your money. The only problem with relying on these markets,
however, is that you are potentially missing out on some golden
opportunities. This is especially true for new investors who usually
do not come to the table with a large capital base at their
disposal. If you are ready to take some risks (and if not, then the
stock market is probably not for you anyway), then you should
consider investing in BB stocks. BB stock trading is an exciting, if
unconventional financial market that is perfect for new investors
who have the time and skill to make sound investment decisions.
BB stocks are also known as Bulletin
Board stocks, or more properly as Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board
stocks. The companies involved in BB stock trading are not the
massive public companies that are listed on the larger stock
exchanges such as the Nasdaq exchange or the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Instead, BB stock trading gives you the opportunity to access
non-listed stocks (i.e. stocks in companies that are not listed on a
stock exchange) through a trading system developed by the National
Association of Securities Dealers.
Of course, because BB stock trading involves investing in stocks that
are not publicly listed, there is obviously a number of risk factors
that need to be taken into account. In order to be listed on a stock
exchange, a company needs to met a number of stringent requirements
that are meant to protect potential investors; while the stock
exchanges are obviously not always successful in weeding out problem
corporations, it still gives the investor an established high water
mark. BB stock trading involves corporations that, for whatever
reason, either have chosen to or cannot meet the listing
requirements to be included on a stock exchange. For this reason,
you need to undertake even more due diligence before investing in a
corporation through BB stock trading. Of course, the relative
obscurity of the stocks you can access through this system also
means that there is a huge potential for gains if you pick the right
stock, especially if the stock makes the jump to a publicly listed
exchange.
